I found a treasure a couple miles from my house.
A new Organic Farm that you would never know was there except for a
small A-frame sign that sits at the bottom of a very long drive way & reads
"Organic Lettuce $1".
A friendly man named Ray greeted Gavin & I and told us about his new farm.
The land had previously been used for Horses & where we were standing
used to be the stables which explained why Gavin had found on the ground a
very old spur placed next to one of the beds of lettuce.
We bought all of this lettuce freshly pulled from the earth for $2.
Then Ray asked Gavin if he would like to keep the spur & of course
I translated my sons silence as an absolute YES!
I'm not sure yet what I'll do with it but I will keep you posted once I figure that out.
